Hy-Vee Grocery Store

Message: The employees are always great. Rushing around and super helpful. One of the best employee/customer experiences in town. Prices are ridiculous though. The produce is hands down the worst in town, often a topic of conversation amongst friends. We’ll buy most things at Hyvee but never the produce. Except now with the prices being what they are, we often look for alternate options first. Finally, the absolute worst thing about Hy-Vee is their self checkout. Never have a problem at other locations, but Hyvee’s self checkout freeze constantly and throw errors over every little thing. It’s so frustrating when locations are understaffed. What is the point of having 10 self checkouts and only having 1 open?!

Message: Always a good experience at this location! Very clean inside & outside. All departments were impressive today! Well lit and well stocked.

Message: I have 2 favorite HyVee stores, Marion Rd and Sycamore St. The best people work here!

Message: I give the night stocking crew a 5 star because I worked with them for a cple hours altho it was sudden. I enjoyed it and they were so nice and respectful to me. So thank u night stockers as I don't know y'all's names.

Message: I have used Hy-Vee on Sycamore's catering 3 different times for a 300 plus company and every time they have been fabulous. Paula, the department manager, is amazing, she made scheduling and even rescheduling (because of weather) extremely easy. The food was delightful and tasty. I highly recommend Paula and her crew for all of your catering needs.

Message: UPDATE: Within several hours, a manager at Hy-Vee responded to my review of disappointment with customer service listed below. My husband reached out to Hy-Vee using the number provided, then went in to correct the mistake. Every establishment is going to make an occasional mistake, but good ones will make far fewer and go out of their way to correct them. My husband said they couldn’t have been nicer and had 5 star service as Hy-Vee worked to correct the issue. It’s just too bad it took two trips, and an online review, to resolve this. Original review: Very disappointed with the lack of customer service on my recent grocery shopping. Had 2 manufacturer coupons for free Michelina grande entrees sent to me directly from the company. Handed both to a cashier. She took the 2 coupons and scanned them. Finished my trip and went home. Noticed the cashier had not taken off the price of the 2 entrees. Husband took receipt back next day and they looked but since couldn't find proof of the coupons (which the cashier took and did something with) they did nothing. Everyone can make a mistake so can understand mistakes will happen but failing to make a mistake right is something that is harder to overlook. Guess I will be taking my grocery shopping needs to Fareway where I have always received excellent customer service when I've had a problem, especially if it was their employees mistake that caused the problem.

Message: Always great to go to my local hyvee. I get what I want and need. I recently went to get some strawberry, chocolate covered with a swirl, and a Charcuterie Board made by the famous Tony at 26th and sycamore, it was worth penny to talk things over with the professionals.
